Victor Hugo’s Apartment is located at Place des Vosages in Marais Area of Paris. The famous writer / poet rented this place as his residence from 1832 – 1848. Some of his major literature were written at this apartment including most of Les Miserable. The apartment is divided into 3 sections displaying his life before during and after his exile in Guernsey. At the Victor Hugo museum you can find his furniture, some personal
items, and sample writings.
