Musée de la Marine or the French Maritime Museum is located at the west side of Palais de Chaillot at Place du Trocadéro.

It is one of the oldest Maritime Museum where you can view tons of ship models, from war ships to pleasure boats, navigation tools, naval items, paintings and other sea related artifacts from the 17th century on-wards.

Other temporary exhibitions are held in this museum as well.

An interesting museum especially for the kids.

Eiffel Tower is within walking distance.
